"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world.

In fact, it's the only thing that ever has.”

— Margaret Mead

At McIntosh Field & Flower, we’re motivated to leave things better than we found them.

We strive to make the world a better place and leave an intentional legacy behind for future generations. We hope we represent our generation’s desire to live closer…. closer to the land through thoughtful, bio-intensive and biodiverse farming practices, and closer to each other through strong community partnerships and familial ties.

Two sisters.

Erin and Tara McIntosh founded McIntosh Field & Flower with the tremendous help of their brother, Sean in the Spring of 2020. After the sudden and tragic passing of their father in 2019, the onset of the pandemic, and the ever looming threat of climate change, they decided to say “f**k it” and start a cut-flower farm on Tara’s six beautiful acres outside of Nashville, TN. We want to add a little beauty back in to the world while reclaiming the land that industry and single-crop farming had ravaged of its nutrients. With education and experience in horticulture, animal science, retail and business, they are venturing to build something worth leaving behind.

It takes a village.
